Mongil Star Dive
General Experience
Mongil Star Dive was lighthearted, fun, but without much substance. I have mostly enjoyed my time in this game. Slaying enemies along the paths felt satisfying, and the anticipation of a rare Monsterling dropping made me want to beat up as many monsters (or sometimes yokai) as I could. However, I never got an Epic or Legendary Monster in my one and a half week that I played the game. That is, of course, by design. As a korean gacha, it puts value in time spent, and effort. A legendary should represent real work in the game, and be something to brag about. I am happy to look back into this in a year or something, to see how much has changed from now. Because we cannot forget that each gacha has growing pains in the beginning of its lifecycle.
